Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

I went to Cafe Rio at around 9pm tonight , and when at the speaker I was told that they were out of steak along with their mango drink. Understandable it’s the end of the night. I did need additional time now to change my order because there is no steak. When at the speaker , the person on the other end was super rude. I get it’s the end of the night/shift, but the entire transaction was not pleasant. When I asked for extra chicken and fajita veggies, I knew it was an extra charge, but the person (I believe it was a female) on the other end had an attitude. “That’s going to be an extra charge.” I got to the window and the transaction there was alright. The girl was a bit confused about my total , and didn’t seem like she was comfortable with being at the window, which we all have to lear

Food was good, planty to go around. one Nacho plate can easily feed two people. Only thing, had to wait for staff to stop talking before the came over to assist. they saw us standing there ( not even a acknowledgment)

I've never had an issue at this location but today was a bit different. The cashier at drive thru was impatient and rude. She didn't take my order right and made us wait to pay. Not polite at all. Food wasn't tasty either. It had literally 6 pieces of steak in my burrito. The queso wasn't even melted or baked correctly.

Came in because we had a free entree coupon with the purchase of a drink. Messed up with you coupon but Abel was very helpful. Made our meal well. Clean atmosphere and good food.

Updated Review, they have definitely improved whichbi am glad. Food was great. Portions were as they should be, it was very good & satisfying!! The quality & portions have dropped since they first opened, portion is literally half the size, especially on the enchiladas. We got about a good size tablespoon of rice & beans, I hope they get back to grand opening quality!
