I can confidently say that today I visited Pobeda Cafe and had fish there. It was fresh and tasted absolutely delicious. The service was also excellent and at a very high level. I also bought tabaka and a cake to take home for my children, and they looked very tasty. I’m planning to come back again with my family.
Yummy pilaf and fried fish made our lunch very yummy. Clean environment and friendly staff.
Just ordered Pilaf to go. Was mentioned as 14.99 on the menu, when i go to pay he’s handing me a bill for 24.99$ telling me the menu has old prices and I’m scratching my head thinking how did they increase the price to almost double and not change the menu. I see another review from a year ago mentioning how they said the same about thr prices at the time - that they hadn’t updated the menu. For the food itself: there was just one small piece of meat and some rice. The meat was very tough and chewy. I’ve been here for before for the soup and i had a good experience and that was 10 months ago..
The place is good the fish is tasty and has a lot of flavors and especially the sauce it adds so much flavor the service is quick and u will not wait a long time for ur food to arrive
This is a Japanese Wagyu shabu restaurant, that I visited with friends. Located in the heart of Flushing NY. This restaurant is some what new however the decor looks a bit on the worn side. The floor was pretty slippery for some odd reason. We were given a seat on the second floor. The menu came in three tiers: silver, gold, and diamond. We chose the gold tier as it offered us in our opinion the best value. Our waitress was pretty friendly, however the staff was definitely not attentive. We had to ask for our used or empty plates to be removed on several occasions. The layout of the restaurant was also very clumsy. The main drinks station is on the first floor, which meant we had to climb the stairs back and forth several times. The food was the saving grace as they do offer quite a
