Customer Reviews
Was really excited to have a girl’s dinner here because this place has been on my list for a while but there aren’t many recent reviews or pictures. This is a little gem and our experience was lovely! The dining area is small, and tables are a bit close to each other, but the ambiance is romantic. Loved the escargot and am happy to have found a local place that has it. Gnocchi was soft and fluffy. Will return and highly recommend for a date night or special occasion!
Very intimate. Very small. Quaint. Luckily it was not filled to capacity, as my chair was in aisle and tables are very close together. Draft from outdoors was very cold & brisket. The bread basket was nice, good crust & tasty interior. The salad & blue cheese crumbles was fresh & good portion. Dressing was a bit sweet, my fault for not asking on the side. Gnocchi was a generous portion. & magnificent; light, & fluffy They made it Florentine for me; delicious. My friend's portion of piccata was nice, broccoli nicely steamed, no fluff. Potatoes looked nice and a bit textured, I didn't not taste. Other tables portions looked generous also. Tiramisu for dessert. Most memorable? The gnocci! Might be the best I've ever eaten. Lovely spot & impressive.
Café Nini quietly delivers where it counts. The food is classic Italian done right — perfectly cooked pastas, flavorful sauces, and well-balanced portions that feel both comforting and refined. Service is warm, attentive, and professional, with staff who strike the perfect balance between friendly and unobtrusive. The cozy, elegant atmosphere invites you to relax and enjoy good conversation over a great meal. Café Nini doesn’t chase trends — it simply delivers quality, consistency, and charm! Nice job
I’m going to call this a hidden gem because “The Hill” is kind of a sleepy business district if I’m being honest. Cafe Nini is also on the opposite side of the street from the majority of the restaurants The Hill has to offer. Make no mistake, this cozy little Italian restaurant is one of the better restaurants on The Hill. The wife and I went for our regular date night and were definitely not let down. I had the fruitti di mare and the wife had fettuccini alla carbonara. Both were excellent. Can’t wait to go back and try something different. The restaurant is super cozy and has the best atmosphere of any restaurant on The Hill that we’ve tried thus far.
I really enjoyed the dirty martini here. The house Cabernet was just okay, I wouldn't order it again. The eggplant stack was delicious. The whitefish and sausage & peppers were just okay. The carbonara was very delicious. It was definitely a carbonara sauce not buttered noodles. The tiramisu was amazing. As mentioned, it is a tiny place and the staff is working very hard.
