Cafe Moderno

Was recommended to visit this location and quite frankly do not think I will return. I ordered the gyro plate and everything came in about 3 seperate containers. The wait was about 30 minutes to take the food to go. The meat did not taste like lamb or beef and tasted like it was frozen and warmed up in a microwave, not fresh at all. I barely got around 3 uneven little slices of pita and a tiny 1 oz cup of Tzatziki, that didn't taste fresh either. I also ordered a tiramisu that had no pick me up and no coffee flavor at all, and I also purchased a baklava, my baklava was dry with no syrup to cut the nuts. Overall the experience and food weren't pleasant.

First visit. Just a random google search for Medit food close by. It might be me buuuut, we were after some kafta & maybe steak kabobs and some garlic fries, pita and hummus. Usual Mediterranean fare I think, they didn’t have the kafta. Or, the minced garlic and oil fries. We ordered steak kabob medium rare, pita & hummus, and regular fries settling for aioli dip. The steak was flavorful buuuut overcooked 😔 no pink at all! A lil chewy cuz of that. Those factors are the reason for 4 stars. The pita and hummus were excellent!! The bread didn’t harden while sitting and eating either! Fries were cooked fine & the aioli dip was very good as well. The service was very good. I've eaten here at least 10+ plus times. Food is consistently delicious and owner is very nice. Food is slightly more expensive but you can definitely taste the quality in the food. Also order ahead because it takes about 15 to 20 mins to have your order out. Definitely not a negative because your food is made to order. Thanks guys.

I always enjoy the food here so much. I have tried various other Mediterranean restaurants and have found places that I like some of their dishes but my overall favorite is all Cafe Moderno. My family always knows I want to go here when they ask me to pick a place to eat

I got the Chicken Souvlaki plate with Greek salad and Baba ganoush and hummus, little sude of tzatziki. This was such an excellent meal. Deliciously seasoned and everything was so fresh. The pita is slightly toasted and that made me eat more of it than I meant to. I will definitely be back even though it's not that close to me!
