I was picking up an order for my friends and I and I have never been to this restaurant. Our order was correct, the bagel sandwiches and muffins were really good. Iced coffee was amazing. And the owner was so friendly and sweet. His kindness really set the tone for the rest of my day. I’ll definitely be going back to this Framingham gem for more bagels and great customer service.
Probably one of the best bagels I’ve had outside of manhattan, and it gives some of NYCs best bagels a run for their money. No BS honest to goodness salt of the earth EXCEPTIONALLY done bagels. Family owned the guys behind the counter know everyone who comes in. Great little place that some people most likely give one look at and don’t give it a chance. The locals know though! They should have a line out the door every morning, but maybe it’s better they don’t for us close by.
Nice friendly bagel shop. Quick service. Ordered an onion bagel with vegetable cream cheese. The bagel was soft, but pretty decent. The cream cheese tasted good. I wouldn’t go out of my way for either, though. The interior was dated, but there is plenty of seating. I wanted to get a bagel sandwich, but they were a little pricey and have four eggs which seems like a lot.
Great bagel spot in central mass. The owner always goes the extra mile to ensure your order is exactly as you like it. Great variety of options. There’s nothing this spot can’t do!
I haven’t had a Cafe Fresh Bagel in years after moving away from one that was two minutes from my house. I came in today and had sticker shock! But, I said for an $11 breakfast sandwich, it’s going to blow me away—right? It was just ok. I’m expecting something wow for that price. Four eggs to a single slice of cheese ha not a good ratio. All I tasted was a mouthful of unseasoned egg. That was, if you didn’t get a bite without a piece of sausage. I’ll come in for a bagel and cream cheese next time to give them another go at it but I would skip the breakfast sandwich.
