Cafe Blackbird

We went to Blackbird Cafe in Denison for lunch. It’s a very calm, relaxing, laidback, comfortable, very friendly, restaurant. We can dine in or take your orders to go. From Salads to sandwiches, cookies to cales, and pies- it’s all amazing and worth every bite!! Sodas, water, or a delicious latte, mocha, or warm hot cocoa is waiting for you too! We had the The Greek Sandwich, priced right at $ 11.95 Delicious crispy artisan bread, with thinly sliced ham, provolone, garlie & chive mayo. Then with tomato, cucumber, bell pepper, red onion, & pepperoncinis. There’s also a side of Greck dressing for dipping! With the Chive mayo and greek dressing, OH, it’s delicious!!!! and also the: Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese (same great price): Delicious crispy artisan bread, slices of pepper jack &

I absolutely love Café Blackbird. Their garden salad with Greek dressing, the Hippie veggie sandwich, and the Greek sandwich are among my favorite things to order. The portions are large, prices are very reasonable, and everything is fresh and delicious. The desserts are another major highlight - BEST cookies ever!! I always just get my orders to-go, but need to hang out in there and dine in one day. Employees are always friendly, and I can’t recommend this place enough.

Beautiful restaurant. Always kind service. And the best Italian sandwich I’ve ever had! I always buy some of their pies for Thanksgiving because I could never 🤣. I would always choose their delicious cookies over all of the chain cookie locations. Never change!

Wonderful vibe. Great patio despite the construction on Main street. Helpful staff. Excellent menu.

Great local place for soups, salads, sandwiches and pastries. They also have a great coffee bar. All food items are made from scratch daily. Locally owned and operated. This is a must stop for breakfast or lunch if your in downtown historic Denison Texas!
