Cafe At Nordstrom

The Christiana mall in Newark, Delaware has a Nordstrom Café. When we go, which is at least monthly, we sit at the bar which faces the kitchen the chef and the cooks. It’s an experience to watch excellence to listen to the coaching that’s going on and the attention to detail for every dish that they’re preparing. And it’s not uncommon for them to share their conversation with guests at the bar and to banter to make recommendations and to enjoy our company. The weight staff is attentive. The restaurant is immaculately clean. It’s a warm and inviting environment.

The consistency in food quality, friendly service and overall experience is amazing. I enjoy my time there and always look forward to returning!

The food, service and atmosphere are actually great. But Christian the General Manager honestly makes it unbearable. Will not greet you when you walk in, and instead of helping staff, stalks them in an overbearing and perturbing fashion. As a frequent patron I always enjoy the food and staff interaction. But do yourself a favor if you see her at the front and order to go !

The Nordstrom's Cafe at the Christiana Mall is a nice restaurant. Always go there with my colleagues at work for lunch at least three time a week. The only thing that surprises us, was when they took the sweet potatoes fries from the menu. Everyone love the fries. We even told the Manager and he said it was a company decision. How can a company remove something on the menu that everybody loves. But overall the experience has been fantastic.

I like this place, I really like this place. They have chefs that actually prepare the food, it's always fresh. The Crab Louie is my favorite dish, if you like seafood check it out, a very hearty salad. A nice sunday go to lunch place, servers a very pleasant. Atmosphere New Yorkish if there's such a word.
