CADL - Holt-Delhi Library

I’ve been using Holt/Delhi library services since I was a kid and have followed them through all the various locations. I truly love this branch and the employees. I am thankful to have such a great library near home.

It’s been a long time since I’ve visited a library where I felt like I couldn’t talk above a quiet whisper. This is a very old-school library, with a small children’s area and no connected rooms you can book where you still have visibility of the main space. You feel in the way when letting your child play in the kids’ area. The staff is nice and the facility is mostly clean (kids toys could use a wipe down), but my family was pretty disappointed after our visit — especially since the local community seems to love it so much. I’m really hopeful that other Lansing-area libraries will have a better children’s area and work zone. I would love to see this library renovated like the attached fire station. I’ve been to rural libraries that felt more modern and more welcoming to working familie

Wonderful staff. It's clean. Family friendly. Please tell the monster that puts the cds back, it's spines up. Not album covers. That way I don't have to touch every damn one. Thanks.

Went there yesterday with my young daughter to get library cards. Rosann was so friendly, so full of knowledge and just top notch. I had no idea the vast resources the library provides, it's way beyond just books!

I just moved to the area and both times I have been to the Holt-Delhi Library, staff have been incredibly friendly and helpful! I was really appreciative of the explanation of the library services when I went to sign up for my card as well. The library facility is really nice and I love that you can order books from within the library network to have it delivered to your closest branch.
