Customer Reviews
Tonight I ordered a pork cachapa, a yoyo (a type of fried plantain dish), and a portion of fries. The bag the order came in was soaked in oil, and I didn't understand why until I saw the box of fries overflowing with oil—it was incredibly unpleasant. It looked like they had practically just taken them out of the fryer and put them straight into the box. They had absolutely no flavor, the yoyo was bland, and the cheese was only about half the diameter of the "yoyo." The vegetables in the cachapa were sour, and the sauces were terrible. What a disappointment.
You’ve got to try it! Whether you’re craving something sweet or salty, this is the place to go. Their cachapas with carne (meat) are so good. For my Latin ladies who love plátano maduro (sweet plantain), go get the Yoyo with cheese and/or meat (see picture). So delicious! And the sauces? They’re phenomenal and go with everything. They also have empanadas and pastelitos. If you like maracuyá (passion fruit — see picture), the juice is yummy. It’s very sweet though, so if you prefer it less sweet, get some water to mix with it. You can sit and eat at the place or grab and go. Enjoy!
Very clean inside. The art on the walls are nice and colorful. I ordered the area with chicken, and it comes with (if you want) lettuce tomatoes green sauce (wish is light and so good. Idk what it is.) Ketchup and a slice of fried cheese! It was crunchy. The chicken was flavorful. I also had before a Tequeyoyo. It's a sweet plantain with ham and cheese. (Like a potato ball sorta) That was a nice flavor, sweet because of the plantain, but the ham and cheese made it a little salty! The bread is sweet soft and sorta wet ish. You should go if you're in the queens area. The girl behind the count is polite and helpful. And they have a bothroom that is clean!!!
The meals here are amazing and I'm surprised since this is my first visit. oh yes, the team knows how to treat customers right. You can experience unique flavor profiles that delight consistently. This place creates a mood I want to stay in. This spot offers outstanding dishes!
The food is delicious. The service too. The only thing is that they won't go to your table to take your order. You have to go to the register. I didn't know and waited for my order to be taken lol until I told the ladie I was ready.
