BZ’s Underground Bistro

First trip ever to Louisiana and tried this spot for some much needed seafood grub after seeing some amazing photos and great reviews on this place. Maaaan. There was NO disappointment! Great meal to start of a first time experience to the area! Most definitely would recommend to others. Order was a call in pick up and was hot and coming out upon quoted timeframe. Order of salmon pasta, seafood fries, and burger for a kiddo. The pasta was so perfectly seasoned!! I couldn’t believe how delicious it was. The seafood on them fries along with that tangy sauce with a kick! Oh my gosh just go try it out for yourself!

Apparently, the truck is different from what I was lead to believe based on previous homework. I’m a truck driver, and I stopped at the TA intentionally to give this a try, because of the reviews that I did see. I was there at 3pm and I met the owner, Chef BZB. He said he didn’t open until 5, and as I turned to head back to my truck, he stopped me and said he’d be willing to open at 4- so that was nice of him. I thought that was more that fair, so at 4, I ordered the salmon, with pasta and broccoli. For $25 it’s easily two meals for me. And VERY good. Not overly seasoned, but definitely not bland and tasteless. It’s just right. Truck drivers- take The short walk across the busy street from the TA and enjoy a good meal!

I ordered the burger and fries for myself. And the salmon with broccoli and mashed potatoes for my husband. It was so good, we did not get a chance to take a photo! The burger was juicy and well seasoned, the fries were thick and fresh; The salmon was perfectly cooked, the broccoli wasn’t mushy, and the potatoes were perfect. Everything was made quickly! We will definitely be back!

Had lunch today and it was the right decision! Friendly and prompt service coupled with good food makes all the difference. Can’t wait to see them grow. Will definitely stop by again!

Listen every time i go I’m never disappointed!! I had to get that seafood pasta with grilled shrimp and salmon. Then i had to add on a steak 🫣😂. I’ll definitely recommend
