I read the reviews before placing my order. These were the best doughnuts I’ve had in this area. Open strawberry one is my favorite. Absolutely coming back. Delicious!! 🥰

If I could give this bakery more than 5 stars, I would. I wanted to do a gender reveal cake and they did not disappoint! I talked with Laura about what I wanted and she made it come EXACTLY to life, it was exactly what I envisioned. Super simple, yet so beautiful. On top of that, the cake was SOOOOO moist and the flavor was SOOO good, we got the vanilla cake with buttercream frosting. We ordered a chocolate cake for my sons bday coming up and im excited to try that also! I found my favorite bakery and will be going back for whatever bake goods i need/want!!!! Thank you guys SO much💛

This is probably the third or fourth visit. They are always friendly, have a great selection, and the doggos love their treats. The turtle mini cheesecake is a favorite - however, there hasn’t been anything we’ve tried and not enjoyed. Do not hesitate to give them a try! ***Edited bc: The apple fritter will change your life***

One of our patients bought us two cakes from Buttermilk Bake Shop located in downtown Petersburg Va. I must say if you are in need of a Delicious moist cake you must go there. We had the Chocolate ganache and the hummingbird cake. It was sooooo good. They can both feed a lot of people because you don’t need a big slice to satisfy your sweet tooth. It’s rich in flavor and worth the trip to the bake shop. When you go tell them DJ sent you. 🦋

Anytime I go to this bakery I am not disappointed at all. That's the great thing. I've had donuts and cakes from here and loved them all. The reason im posting this review is the strawberry bread pudding I picked up Saturday morning. It is very delicious. I warmed it for like 30 seconds a scoop of vanilla ice cream and I was in bread pudding trance lol. Very delicious and cant wait to try another type possibly if yall have one.
