Butterly Bakeshop did an amazing job on my wedding cake! They were so accommodating with the cake tasting and designing our cake. It came out exactly how we wanted and it was delicious!

I ordered through Grubhub. Someone look at the practical cake box they sent! That alone made me excited to try the Lemon blueberry cake slice; which tasted like a blueberry muffin. So soft and fresh. The lemon buttercream icing was pleasant. Not overly sweet. Presentation 10/10. Flavor 10/10. Butterly good.

We got the Brooklyn Blackout cake. It’s just unfortunately not that good tasting, but looks good. Was not fresh or moist. I would expect that if you’re spending $100 for a cake that feeds eight people, that would be freshly made that day. Especially if you ordered it a few days ahead of time. But alas, it was clear this was a previously frozen cake, it was not moist, tastes did not come together.

I've ordered a cake six days before my birthday. I wanted a customized Egyptian themed cake just for 12 people. I spoke with Erica, who has been extremely helpful and very understanding. The cake spoke for itself lol, it was very beautiful and delicious, made with the filling I've asked for. Butterly Bakeshop is now my go to for customized cakes. Thanks again Erica! My new review as of 2025, this is my second time using Butterly Bakeshop. Again, six days before my birthday, I was able to order a customized cake. Kristen was nice, I gave her the details and the cake came through. The cake was yummy, everyone enjoyed it and I was very pleased. New cake images below my first review. Thanks Kristen!

Amazing! We ordered a small cake and some cupcakes for my sons 3rd birthday. Erika was amazing helped us pick the perfect cake and made sure everything went smoothly. All of the guests were so impressed and many asked us where we got the cakes from. The cakes were moist, not too sweet and full of flavor. We ordered the strawberry milkshake cake and the strawberry filling was fresh and bursting with real strawberries. We are so happy we found Butterly and will be using them for our party cake needs from now on. Wishing endless success to this wonderful little bakery.
