Busy Bean Cafe

This place is unique in that it’s both a coffee shop and a diner. The coffee and food are good and the ability to either hang out with a cup of coffee or get the diner experience sets it apart for me. Small area with chairs to relax, individual counter type seating if solo, or plenty of tables (including some large ones) enhances the experience. Provides a nice local place in the area to get away from chains. Breakfast all day makes it a good brunch spot. The staff are excellent. Food ordered at counter and then delivered to table. Cuban restaurant at night that was good for takeout, but I have not eaten in for that.

It’s nice to have a coffee shop with good seating in Penfield, a place to meet a friend or get some work done. There is plenty of seating and the lighting is good. Sophia was such a sweet and helpful server, she offered some good ideas for me that made my experience with a mom brain really nice.

Busy Bean has the greatest service - very friendly and helpful. They serve to your table. It gets crowded but I always manage to find a table. Good menu and coffee drinks. Breakfast all day. (Kitchen closes at 3:30 pm). My favorite is the cinnamon bun French toast- yum! Very nice atmosphere too and they keep the tables clean, floors swept, and bathrooms also clean.

Went this morning for the first time with my daughter and it was awesome. The girl taking my order was amazing. So kind and helpful, her name started with a D. I got the quesadilla and it was delish. The staff was so friendly, we are excited to go back and support small business!

I went here today with a friend and it was really good! It was our first time here and I really enjoyed the food. They were really busy, definitely busier than usual but the woman who was serving us told us in advance so it wasn’t a problem. Their menu is fairly simple with only several options for an entree and a few appetizers. They also do breakfast here as well but I haven’t had that yet. I ordered the panini de cubano (Cuban panini) and it was really good! I would definitely come back again. My only issue was we had asked for sweet plantains, but the ones we were given were not yet ripened. Hopefully they will have sweet ones next time.
