Burton's on the Bay

Absolutely stunning location, amazing panoramic views of Egg harbor, the Bay of Green Bay, and outlying Islands. First time visiting, I can see why it's such a popular wedding venue! Sadly this may be our last! Seems like October 11th will be it's final closing. To be raised for a private home.😭 That said our lunch from the French onion soup, perch sandwich, fish taco's, and burger was awesome! Fabulous presentation, flavors, definitely exexpitonal for Door county's basic deep fried fare! We arrived early for lunch and found immediately seating water view, our food service was efficient and drinks wonderful. Highly recommend if you can visit prior to closing! Hats off to the chef! Great job!

After a trolley tour, we looked for a restaurant close by and found this wonderful, peaceful gem next to the water. As part of the Alpine Resort, it has a beautiful large dining room and also a large patio for outdoor seating. With friendly, professional employees (such as Wyatt, our attentive server), the fine dining experience with beautiful views was so relaxing. The food was tasty and presented artistically, but with affordable prices. Our party had the wonderful soup and salad, a delicious burger, and the sumptuous steak sandwich with portabella mushroom. We enjoyed our lunch so much that we went back the next day!

Though this restaurant is fancy, it had a relaxed atmosphere, and the waitstaff were friendly. My daughter absolutely loved the Margarita Pizza, while my husband had the same reaction to the Mac Daddy Burger. My son tried the Chicken Fingers with fries and his tenders were flavorful and fried to perfection. I enjoyed the Harbor Chicken Sandwich and fries as well. I don't know what they do to the fries here but they were amazing! The unsweetened tea was delicious and yes, they have free refills on tea. Gabriella did a great job, was very friendly, and very helpful with the few questions that we had. Overall, this restaurant was a nice surprise and very affordable. We would definitely recommend!

Delicious! We sat outside and watched the sunset as we ate- it was beautiful. Went on a Saturday night and it was surprisingly not busy at all! Service was average, but the food made up for it! We had the stuffed pork chop and the shrimp pesto gnocchi- both were amazing! Wine and the lemonade lavender were also great! Lobster bisque was perfect!

This is an excellent restaurant in a beautiful location on the shore of Green Bay at Egg Harbor. The service was excellent. My wife said this was the best meal she had had in Door County.
