Overall, food is great & the price is fair given their large portions. Would come again. ± Burma House Noodles are flavorful, although a tad too sweet & could use some spice. Portion is large & good for sharing. ± Burma Crispy Chicken: also flavorful with a nice crispy outer shell, but is also a bit too sweet and overly saucy. + Atmosphere is pleasant and service is good.

Discover this gem serving Burmese cuisine in Willow Glen. It has been open for about six months . The tea salad, with tea leaves, greens, peanut, seed is a special go to dish. The waiter took the time to mix it up at our table. Its texture and taste are both pleasing to the palate. The Shan Tofu is very unique, it has the subtle sweetness with a crisp skin, unlike other tofu dishes, it is another must try. The pork belly with green mustard is nicely done too. I would come back for the Tea Salad and Shan Tofu.

If you are looking for “authentic”, don’t go here. If you want interesting flavoured food then, yes, do go here. This review is for those people actually looking for “authentic”. Do not get the Rainbow Salad. Lacking some ingredients, especially the tamarind sauce. When asked for tamarind sauce, I was brought DILUTED Chinese sweet and sour sauce! No tamarind in sight. It was confirmed by the server that this was Burma Roots’ “tamarind” sauce. 👎🏻 The Fish Chowder Noodle Soup (Moat Hingar) was another miss. This dish is a Burmese staple for goodness sake. Get it right. Not a fish in sight. (At least nothing that resembled fish). And tasteless. The Coconut Noodles Soup (0hn Noe Kout Swel) was acceptable. I would order this again. I frequent the BURMA TWO restaurant in Walnut Creek. No

First time there. Food was great. Service was good. Atmosphere was surprisedly very western. Since I am not an expert on Burmese cuisine, I cannot quite tell if the food was authentic or not.

Went on a Saturday evening with friends. No problem getting a table for 6 at 7:30 pm. Very good food. Reasonably priced for the Bay Area. We had the tea leaf salad, minced jalapeños chicken, House noodle with shrimp and all of it was good. Public Parking lot right behind the restaurant.
