They have the best tasting and cleanest jerky I have had in a long time. Tender, meaty, flavorful. They also have the best tasting and cleanest chicken. I just tried the butter and is delicious. Finally, the cream cheese is amazing...tastes fresh and beats large brands by a long shot. We drive 3 1/2 hours to get the chicken because it is so much cleaner and tastier than store bought. Love this place!

We never knew this place was there until it popped up on our google maps on our way back from downstate. It is off the beaten path in Escanaba, which is why we never saw it before. We walked in and was kindly greeted by Nick. Nice guy! The amount of proteins of all choices that this little store has is amazing. They also have lots of cheeses. The owner was working and kindly introduced himself to us too. Very friendly. We opted for two New York Strips and some salad fixings to go. Grilled them at home and they were tasty. They have a large freezer section of so many meats, etc. I even saw alligator in the freezer! Yum! (Next time)It's a store that seems very retro when you walk in. Like stepping back in time. Furthermore, they provided valuable suggestions on how to divide the meat according to my preferences. I was impressed by their ability to remember me upon my return, which added a charming and personal touch to my experience. The business maintained a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, much like a home. Most importantly, the meat was processed flawlessly. Following some recent disappointments from other businesses. Incredible flavor and the most tender steak we’ve ever had! I’m so glad I saw your Facebook ad that you had prime steaks in stock — I rushed over and bought two… and then came back for more. 😄 Great job! Clearly buying disgusting Cornish cross chicken. Woody, nasty giant chicken breasts. They were good at first but then either the supplier pulled a switcheroo on them to cut costs or they started ordering worse chicken breast to cut costs. Not sure who is to blame but they haven’t noticed which is a huge red flag for a place that is supposedly the best meat store in town. Don’t even seem knowledgeable on the subject to be honest. You’d think the guy with the meat store would be an expert.
