Burger Break

Great no frills burger joint that sticks to the classics and is charging very reasonable prices which is a rare find these days. First time here and look forward to returning! We ordered 2 cheeseburgers (one with bacon pictured), fries and a small shake for just under $25. Can’t beat that!

I used Yelp to find something to eat. I saw BURGER BREAK. The pictures look really nice and made the food look delicious. Driving up to the stand alone restaurant the offered plenty of parking and outside dining which was very attractive and looks relaxing. The young lady was very polite and attentive. She really was helpful as I am a stranger to the menu. I ordered a burger with double meat and everything on it. That was my mistake it wasn't working it was entirely too much. The plain burger caught my eye but I switched from my original thought. I had onion rings and they were cooked a lot different than what I have had in the past. I also had a hotdog. Happy to report the All American roadside hamburger stand is not dead. It’s alive and well in Islip. The friendly staff is up Serving no frills burgers, chicken sandwiches, dogs and sides in an unassuming road site location this place sparks up instant nostalgia. The food is simple and affordable and family friendly. They have limited seating inside and additional seating outside which is great when the weather is warmer. The perfect place to take the kids after baseball practice for a burger and a delicious milkshake. The shakes and the root beer floats should not be missed. This spot is a neighborhood gem!!!

OMG I just ordered 2 hotdogs with onions drove to work started eating it so much onions I didn't see till half way the hotdog was green so I took out the 2nd hotdog and it was disgusting I will never go again not the first time happened a while ago with a raw burger I'm done be careful with this place I will also put up pictures

Located adjacent to East Islip Post Office and Shandon Court on Main St. this new Burger establisment offers quick eats of American fare. Staff was friendly and food was okay. Our party had burgers, fries, knishes, shakes, fingers and fries. Reasonably priced for a private Burger joint. Great location and plenty of outdoor seating. Ample accessible parking right out front. Clean grounds and manicured landscaping. Definitely a good spot to enjoy a late night snack or afternoon desert.
