Bunny Cafe San Francisco

Just had the most delightful afternoon at Bunny Cafe! This place is such a gem, equal parts cozy cafe and bunny sanctuary. We booked a 60-minute session (definitely recommend reserving ahead) and it was worth every minute.The space itself is thoughtfully designed with the bunnies’ comfort clearly in mind, and the staff genuinely care about both their fuzzy residents and the humans visiting them. Watching my kid’s face light up while gently petting these sweet creatures was priceless. It’s rare to find an activity in SF that feels this wholesome and calming. The cafe side has good drinks and treats too, so you can grab something while you’re there. My family and I had a wonderful time here! The owner and staff were sooo kind. They all had so much info to share in the bunnies, and the area. All of the bunnies are super cute, friendly, and cuddly (they don’t bite and actually love being pet). They also all happen to be adoptable/available to foster. This is not some place that mistreats animals and forces them to be tourist attractions. They give them several hours to rest without seeing people every day. (The owner even joked that they’re union bunnies lol) I would 10000% recommend this place if you have kids or want to go for a fun date night. You can book for as little as 30 minutes and the cafe has some pretty decent GF and vegan options which was great for us.

I visited the Bunny Cafe on the MLK holiday and luckily it wasn’t packed in the morning! The staff - Aurelia and Ashley - were so friendly and helpful. There is a video you watch for the rules. There were also two handlers inside the bunny area that helped you learn how bunnies like to be approached. They were all so calm. I wish I could adopt them all!

This place is so cute and the employees were super nice and accommodating. Unfortunately my friends and I were late to our 12pm reservation as we were taking public transportation. We communicated to the cafe that we will be running late and that we understand we will still have to leave by 12:30pm as we had reserved the 30 minutes. When we arrived, we were very surprised to learn they were kind enough to still give us 30 minutes with the bunnies even though we were late!! That was so sweet of them and it was so nice meeting the bunnies. RIP Alex the Great 🪽

My husband and I had the most wonderful time at Bunny Cafe. You could truly tell how the owner and staff loved bunnies and were so knowledgeable and passionate about them. I've been eagerly awaiting their opening and been following their progress on Instagram for a while, and the experience did not disappoint! When you go with a reservation, you need to fill out a simple disclaimer form and watch an informational video. Then we were introduced to all of the lovely bunnies — they were so soft and gentle and my husband and I had a blast spending time with them. There was a surprising selection of cute swag and cafe options outside too. Note, please don't forget to make a reservation if you want to play with the bunnies!
