Bud's at Silver Run

What an excellent time. Perfection in service from the staff. Everything from table setting to being served. All exactly 💯 the way it should be The Soup du jour was superb with flavor bouquets. Elk chop was totally OMG as the kitchen wizardy was amazing. Amazing people who care and excellent culinary excursion in Carroll County md Silver Run community. Bud's should be on your list of nice for this Christmas 🎁 as they exceed expectations.

Excellent service, food, and vibes. The plates are sized perfectly and our waiter was quite attentive without being overwhelming. The chocolate cake was amazing as well

First time experience here & we dined with a toddler and infant with us. I cannot say enough about how welcome and accommodating they were. Our waitress was so thoughtful & made sure our toddler had a drink with a secure lid. The owner was so sweet and brought over crayons for our toddler to draw right on the tablecloth which she thought was really special. Thank you for making dining with young children such a positive experience!

First time for bday celebration. Disappointing, awkward experience. Bar was full at 5 pm on Friday, but no one eating there. Restaurant empty besides us until 5:30 - didn't fill up until after 7 pm. Service friendly but awkward. I tried the Elk at suggestion of waitstaff (instead of filet) I asked for the garlic mashed potatoes instead of rice which came with spinach. Potatoes were gummy, not really flavored and small portion. There was no side spinach. Was told it's mixed w/rice so she brought me green beans instead- they were chewy, not crunchy and had no flavor. Small portion which was fine cause they were bad. Boyfriend liked his cream of crab soup and snapper special which came with asparagus (only 3 small stalks) was supposed to get roasted potatoes but they weren't quite ready when

Food was amazing! We got both types of crab soup and could not believe how good they were. It was what I would expect from a fine dining restaurant on the water. The crab egg rolls were cooked perfectly. Crispy, spicy and sweet and absolutely delicious. We also ordered two salads, one with lump crab, as we were there for a lighter meal around lunch time. The salads were fresh and delicious and the quality of the plain crab was impressive. Totally unexpected dining experience and a very welcome surprise. The waitress was lovely and she shared the really cool history about the building. Definitely worth the drive and can’t wait to go back.
