Buddy Burgers

Buddy burgers has great chili fries and I love the chicken sandwich with extra mayo. My friend loves the burgers and the onion rings. We both agree the chili they use is delicious 😋. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is always nice. The only downside is the area can be kind of sketchy but we've never had any issues but I wouldn't feel comfortable eating in the outdoor dining area at night due to safety concerns as a woman. Highly recommended for yummy fast food.

Smaller portions but smaller prices. Chilli is phenomenal, the chilli cheese fries are nothing special. I really liked the chilli dog and I got a triple chilli cheese burger which was also good too. Seems like a local favorite, I will be back.

Girl who took our order was very helpful and nice. I have lived in oxnard since 1981 and never have I ever tried Buddy's. As kids we would always say let's try it bc that's Dad's name but alas, my parents did not raise us eating from burger joints ever. As I grew up, I moved away but when I would come to visit my parents, I still wouldn't try Buddy's bc my choice would always be TDM or Toppers. The day finally came last night when I was craving me some chili fries, a chili cheese burger, and onion rings- burger joint style. Buddy's popped into my head and I decided I would finally try them. Burger size is almost that of a slider so if you go get at least a double or triple burger. In fact even the fries were miniscule. Seriously it is one tiny burger with tiny fries. The redeeming feature is the taste is pretty good. Just don't expect to be full unless you order like three triple burgers. And that is for a small person.
