Buck's Homestead Bed and Breakfast

This is s gem! Easy to get to, quaint little house. Wonderful breakfast provided. Joan is a lovely host. She gives you homemade cookies upon arrival. The rooms are comfy with robes provided and lots of things to choose from on the TV. You get your own bathroom.... it's just a great place to stay in a beautiful small town.

We stayed at Buck's Homestead B&B for a family reunion happening in town. We had a wonderful. Joan is a lovely host. We loved the house and the history of the farm and their family. Her breakfasts were delicious, and she made gluten free options for me, which was very kind, and delicious! The rooms and bathrooms are clean, cozy and comfortable, and make you feel at home. The pool was a nice bonus for a hot day! And its well situated - not far from town, but out of town enough to feel like you are in the countryside! We loved our stay here! thanks Joan!

Back in town for a high school reunion and we (wife and I) stayed at Buck's again. Joan is a wonderful hostess, and the breakfasts are divine!!! The room was comfortable and private with a well-equipped bath and two coffee machines. Buck's is a short hop to several of our old haunts in Montgomery, Maybrook, Middletown and Newburgh. The view is beautiful pasture, the parking free and the evenings quiet. We fell in love with her beautiful cat Chippie!! We will be back!!

We returned to spend a few days in the area for a high school reunion and chose this picturesque home based on the recommendations of local friends. It's a lovely house with a beautiful view, adequate free parking, wi-fi and a very comfortable room with it's own bath and shower. Despite the feeling of being "in the country", it is only a few minutes from the local towns, restaurants and attractions. Joan, our host, was friendly and accommodating and her breakfasts can only be described as legendary!!! Indeed, I am sorry she is hundreds of miles from our home in Virginia as we would love to be there on a routine basis for the fantastic food!! Highly recommended!

This bed and breakfast is charming and comfortable, the rooms are well apportioned and the breakfast is hearty and sets you up well for a day exploring the Hudson Valley. The host, Joan, is hospitable to guests of all backgrounds and will try to accommodate any dietary restrictions you may have. Be sure to ask her about the history of the house and her time growing up her when it was a dairy farm.
