Buckman's Guesthouse

Beyond our expectations! Blown away by this gorgeous house and amazing host, Paula. We were visiting family nearby and the kids didn’t want to leave as there was so much for them to do there. The breakfasts were more than anyone could ask for. So much food and it tasted amazing! Paula really went all out for us. Rooms are spacious with no detail missed. Would highly recommend!

Another great visit to Buckman's Guesthouse!!! Plenty of room for us old folks, our daughters and their families---those that could make it anyway. Paula is a very welcoming and accommodating host. As always, breakfasts were fantastic---plenty of it and delicious. Lots of room for cards and board games, putting puzzles together, ping pong, and pool at night or if the weather is not accommodating. Outside games during the day----corn hole, Frisbee golf, football game or catch with our dogs 🐕. All you will need for light cooking---inside and out. The location is out of the way, so get your groceries or snacks before you get there. Paula gave us plenty of ideas of things to do in the area, and the younger generation went to the swinging bridge in Columbus Junction but mostly we just

Loved it! Our extended family of 15 (ranging from 70ish to 3) plus 3 dogs had a great time. We rented all 5 bedrooms and had plenty of space. Paula’s breakfasts every day were excellent! We loved hanging out in the great room playing cards, bingo and working on puzzles and playing pool and ping pong in the upstairs game room. We really appreciated the full size fridge, oven, microwave and mini dishwasher in the great room that made making meals really easy. We also loved the peaceful outdoor setting where we enjoyed fishing, paddle boating, frisbee golf, grilling, s’mores by the fire pit and a very competitive bags tournament. Paula is an excellent host with a beautiful home. Highly recommended!
