I’ve been here twice, both good experiences. The mushroom soup is a specialty, and good! My friend and I both enjoyed its texture and depth the flavor. Has a little sherry added to it, and the mushrooms are blended, but still a bit chunky. I took my motorcycle buddies here too, and they enjoyed it.

We had the most wonderful experience at Buckley's Tavern yesterday while celebrating my husband’s birthday with our family! From the moment we walked in, everything felt warm, welcoming, and special. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and truly made us feel valued. They helped make the birthday celebration feel even more meaningful. The food was absolutely delicious — every single dish we ordered exceeded our expectations. We started with the creamy mushroom soup, and it was AMAZING! So rich, smooth, and full of flavor — you could tell it was made with care. It was the perfect way to begin our meal. After that, we shared a beautiful fruit plate with dipping sauce. Soul satisfying mushroom lover and clam chowder lasagna comfort food addict thoroughly enjoyed our lunches. Mushroom soup with completely pureed special combo of fresh mushrooms. Deep Mushroom flavor. Clam chowder doesn't skimp on clam flavor.

Stopped in for a quick bite. The menu prices were quite a bit higher than we were expecting. Nachos (just cheese, jalapeños and pico) were $16, and would have been another $8 to add chicken. They were tasty but nothing great. Needed some black beans, queso or something else to make it better. Fries were good. The atmosphere is the best part. Feels like a tavern (because it is). Portion sizes are good for the price. Didn't order a beer because draft prices were expensive ($8+)

Stopped in for a snack and had their cheese sticks. I was not expecting much and was very happily surprised! Everything was freshly made. The cheese was delicious, the fresh pesto was insanely delicious, and the marinara outstanding. If the rest of the menu is as good as this one appetizer its a good time.
