This was my 1st visit to a bubakoos since I lived in Point Pleasant (home to 1st bubbakoos) years ago, so I had high expectations. Let me tell you they did not disappoint! Everything was fresh and delicious! Love that they have the shells for the salads. Also ordered southwest dumplings, bacon and cheese curly fries, and a Sriracha ranch chicken burrito. Everything was delicious and satisfying. I can't wait to go back and try some more things. One of the workers said they just added the street corn to the menu and its delicious so that is my "to try" list.

Wayne and Rob the owners on this location on route 1 in avenel and they also own another location in hazlet on route 35 this location caught me by surprise because I had visited the other bubbakoo's in Clark and they're okay but this please the food was fresh it was amazing the buffalo cauliflower they made it extra crispy just the way I like it the customer service here was phenomenal these two guys came out and made sure the food was amazing they were cleaning place this is a must go place and they also do catering here. I think this is my new location to go to when I visit bubbakoo's even though I live in Clark I'll drive the extra 15 minutes to this avenel location so that I can enjoy their cooking instead it just seemed fresher better.

I love coming here bc everyone is nice but today I got two taco trips w ground beef pico and cheese. I asked for extra cheese bc I wasn’t getting any other toppings. I even encouraged him to add more but it’s like he was losing his own money to give extra. . I came home and there was like very tiny amount of meat in the taco. At $25 I expect a taco w meat and not just a shell. I will delete this review once someone sees it bc I do like this place. Everyone is always nice here. But the taco meat is never hot and I always have to reward it when I get home and if you’re not getting anything but meat poco and cheese , don’t be shy ads the cheese and meat. The shells are not worth $25.

Absolutely terrible experience at Bubbakoo’s. We walked in and there was one guy working by himself, wearing headphones while helping two other customers. We stood there waiting, and when he finally acknowledged us, a family of five walked in behind us. He immediately looked annoyed that he actually had to do his job. Then, out of nowhere, a few more employees slowly dragged themselves out of the kitchen — no hair nets, sloppy appearance, and horrible attitudes. Two girls looked visibly pissed off, and the guy helping us seemed mad that he had to be there. The whole vibe was uncomfortable. They were literally giving each other looks of disgust and annoyance while we were standing there, along with a family with three kids.
