Bruster's Real Ice Cream

This evening I stopped by Bruster’s Monroe to pick up my usual order. Typically I come and the owner (who is always very hospitable) takes my order with no issues. Unfortunately, this time when asking for my extra toppings as a side, I was met with the rudest interaction I’ve ever had with an employee ANYWHERE. She told me they don’t give out that particular topping even after I expressed that the manager sells this to me all the time. I was disheartened to find that customer service at this location has significantly declined and I will be doing my best to avoid this location in the future.

This location of Brusters is amazing. The staff is friendly and so helpful. And the ice cream was delicious!! We love this place!

Ice cream is amazing. One complaint they never give you napkins. After paying them premium money and giving them a good tip they still can’t give you a napkin to wipe your hands off and they don’t have the water hooked up outside to wash your hands. I don’t understand. lol damnit

Owner: Either stop telling your employees to ask for tips at the window - or if you are not training them to do this (though I’m sure you are), advise them to stop. It’s tacky and off-putting. My wife and I stopped going to Bruster’s Monroe because of this. The last time I was there, I was boldly asked “Would you like to leave a tip on your credit card?” I am not going to tip an employee or anyone for handing me an ice cream cone at the window. Perhaps pay your employees 1 dollar more per hour and advise them to stop asking for tips.

First time ever coming here and it was amazing! Hot fudge Brownie sundae is the bomb! People were awesome and very kind
