Bruster's Real Ice Cream

A really great first experience at Bruster’s. The staff was really friendly and gave me a full service explanation of how things operate at the shop. I had somehow not made it out until now after they opened around 6mos ago. I was offered plenty of samples and recommended flavors. The flavors were deep and creative. I really enjoyed my waffle cone with Graham Central Station and Dubai Chocolate. Highly recommend for any ice cream enthusiast or dessert fan.

Tried their dairy free option, it was great. Not bland like most dairy free options, nor watery. Wish they had a drive-thru! It’s walk up only with no places to really sit or anything. Overall, recommend.

We were unsure about another Ice Cream shop coming to Lee’s Summit. But we are beyond happy to have Bruster’s now that we have tried their ice cream. Our new favorite ice cream shop!! We first visited on the night of Bruster’s grand opening, and have gone back several times since. The white truffle and the gooey butter cake ate our all time favorite flavors. But all the flavors are delicious- strawberry cheesecake with graham and chocolate raspberry are also to die for. The staff is very friendly, helpful and offer to give you a sample before you purchase a flavor. We have talked to who we believe is the owner and he was very appreciative for our business, welcoming and a friendly face to chat with while we waited for our ice cream to be served. It’s a generous amount of ice cream but it’s also expensive. The gooey butter cake flavour has pieces of cake in it. The cookie and cream one was nothing to write home about, not enough cookies. It is a shop with no there is no inside or bathroom to use for place to wash your hands.

Ordered two different flavors, one of the flavors (gooey butter cake) was half way melted when presented. Just tasted like caramel ice cream. The other flavor was better and the staff was friendly.
