Brunswick County Library - Barbee Library

Great place. My daughter signed me up to play bingo as a guest in town this week. Great prizes and loved the atmosphere with the people there. Highly recommend visiting for the library itself as well. Great layout.

CV Barbee Sr Library is a gem & the community is so fortunate to have such a facility, All those associated with the library provide & strive to enhance available materials & programs of interest for all ages. The physical environment is comfortable & well maintained. Materials & equipment are consistently updated. Erica Dosher, branch manager, is excellent at overseeing library goals & objectives. She is dedicated to her position & committed to enhancing all aspects of the library. The Barbee staff & volunteers are consistently courteous, professional & pleasant.They are alsways willing to assist those using the facility. Thank you. Bravo Barbee Library! Wonderful place for the little ones to explore, grow, and drift into imagination.

i love this little library! it's very "hamish" which means homey! even if they do not have the books i need, they order them & i get them in a few days. the reading/ desks areas are lovely --nice furniture and set by windows. erica is a gem. she is a gentle & quiet leader: always very helpful & kind.

The staff here really go above and beyond! My daughter loves to read and was beginning a new series and I expressed my hope to surprise her with all of the books in the series when I picked her up from school. I called that morning and they called me that afternoon to say they had all the books but one! My daughter was SO excited to begin the series! They are always super helpful, we love both of our local libraries!
