The food was delicious and distinctive -- apple slices in a toasted turkey sandwich was a delightful surprise! I do wish that there could be some more healthy offerings (similar to what is available at "Cake" in Germantown). The ambiance is a little bit dank and run down, especially in the surprisingly chilly main dining area (needs brighter light, plants, and upbeat background music). The holiday garlands were nice, though. The servers were pleasant and didn't seem at all unhappy to be there. There an appealing family vibe. This place is a good choice for eaves dropping on neighboring conversations, so don't have any top-secret planning sessions here, LOL! First time here. Came for lunch on a Wednesday. Sat on the indoor Porch. Love the red and white Decor. Burgers and cottage fries were tasty. service was attentive and friendly. Menu items seemed to be a great value.

Food was good after hiking the Wissahickon Trail. My breakfast sammy was tasty on an everything bagel. Husband liked his cheesesteak and he is a particular eater.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and while it's had its ups and downs it never fails to bring me joy. They're currently on an upswing and semi-recently redecorated the porch and got new umbrellas for the outdoor seating. Food is great and the vibes are on point. Milkshake and chicken cheesesteak combo always hits.

🥾🍔Bruno’s is a good spot for you to stop on a day of hiking. It’s only a few minute walk off the trail near the horse stable. At Brunos there are 3 distinct seating areas; outside, outside porch covered, and inside. 🐕🦴Outside dogs will be welcome. 💿🎵🌈Inside your kids might love checking out the working jukebox! ⭐️🍪Star Biscuit tip, seating is seat yourself when you get there. Or “Seat ‘Yo Self!” As they’d say on Parks & Rec. Kids menu Mac & four cheese, ravioli, passed out kids test. While the Italian hoagie was 4 ⭐️’s, meat was good Italian meats, and we would order this again. The Cheesesteak hoagie was less stellar at 3 ⭐️’s, being a little too dry, but overall okay.
