The service was great. They include a 16% gratuity on the bill which goes to all servers. You can give more than that which goes directly to your server. We thought the food was good not great. They had good dairy free options and gluten free as well. My wife got the chicken biscuits and gravy. She thought. the chicken was pretty good. The bun and gravy were ok. It was super rich ("it was a bit heavy"). I got the brisket hash. I loved the smokey flavor with the sweet potatoes. It was also pretty rich. The coffee was super fruity flavored and a little sour. I can't do lactose so black is my first go to and sugar if necessary. Personal preference here. I like earthy nutty type coffee, but I know the fruity undertones are pretty popular.

Service: Our waitress was great. Friendly, quick, laughed at my jokes, and handled everything smoothly. Zero complaints. If this review were based on her alone, we’d be planning a second date. Food: I had the chicken fried steak. Flavor was solid, eggs were cooked perfectly over medium, and the fried potato medley was legit. The breading, however, did not want to commit and slid off the steak like it had somewhere else to be. My wife ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken was cooked perfectly… moist, flavorful, no notes. The waffle had an interesting flavor profile. It tasted fine to me, but the cinnamon came in hot. Less “hint of cinnamon,” more “main character energy.” Vibe: Nice spot overall. My wife, who operates at near-elite cleanliness standards, thought it could be cleaner. I

Amazing food and service. The shrimp n grits were some of the best I've had! Cute vibe! They've got an extended list of boozy beverages from their coffee to mimosas! We'll definitely be back!

This place was so good! Not sure why it took me so long to come here! I got the Passion fruit Mimosa which was DELICIOUS. The Brisket in the Brisket hash fell apart so nicely and I love that their potatoes medley has sweet potatoes as well as regular! I had to get the Bacon sticky bun for some breakfast sweetness and that is all I can think about now 🤤 The staff were all super sweet and very attentive. Absolutely will be back!

I love everything I've tried here at Bruncheonette! A foodie friend of mine, who hails from the Southern USA, says their Shrimp & Grits are fantastic - and that's saying something coming from a southerner! My last visit I had the Tamale Waffle and it was wonderful. I tend to go with mostly savory dishes here, but often get their Bacon Sticky Bun as a sweet appetizer. They make a limited number of these each day, so don't be surprised if they run out toward the end of the day. Coffee is wonderful (I really enjoy their French Press Carafe) and I'm told by my friends who drink that their cocktails are very good. All around, one of the best brunch places in the Spokane area.
