Broyhill Music Center

Love that this facility is available to students for practicing. We love attending concerts at Rosen Hall. The death trap aka elevator on the student side is terrifying but beyond that this is a wonderful place to visit...so long as you don't mind that they suppress your constitutional rights.

Community Band concert. Not a large crowd but audience enjoyed varied performance. Rosen has great acoustics and University is pretty good about letting band use facilities. "Interns" helped with set up and take down - that's new.

A decently equipped music school building. Architecture is cleverly built into the side of the hill. Some equipment is old and needs replacing. Also not quite enough space for total student capacity during semesters.

Proficient facility for the band students at Appalachian State University.

If you ever have the opportunity to see students from the Hayes School of music preform. Take it. These students are amazingly talented and so are the professors who often have recitals of their own.
