Brownstone 22 is exactly what SLC needed—it's East Coast oyster bar meets world-class culinary talent. They took a historic 1890s bank—yes, there is an actual WINE VAULT now—It’s approachable. it’s sexy. it is the vibe! Reimagined by Gary Vlasic, keeping all the historic charm but making it feel like a high-end LA lounge (shoutout to those Jessalyn Brooks murals—OBSESSED). The bartender from White Horse is behind the stick, so you already know it’s top shelf—The Old Fashioned was perfection and the Mezcal Margarita is dangerously good. The FOOD was 10/10 from beginning to end -- oysters (of course!), then the Soup of The Moment, and finally the Osso Bucco -- this is the true testament to a chef and it was absolutely fabulous! My friend Jacob Corbaley and I had an amazing time at Brownstone 22. The atmosphere is so charming. Josh, Cole, Ty, Alex and Rich all gave us the best customer service ever. Food and drinks were amazing. This place feels already like a respected gem in the neighborhood, but I know will impress every visitor as well. Thanks so much for a great evening. We will be back frequently.

Absolutely loved our experience at this new restaurant downtown! The restaurant is tucked inside a beautifully restored historic building, and the charm and ambiance are fantastic. Every part of the meal was memorable. The scallop appetizer incredibly flavorful. The carbonara entree was fresh, rich, and easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time. And the celery shrub mocktail was really unique and refreshing. The service was attentive, the atmosphere felt upscale, and the whole evening felt special. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend!
