Customer Reviews
We love going to Browns, one of our favorite places. Great food, staff and the location is very pretty. We just recently went and it wasn’t very busy because of the weather. The band was setting up. We just thought we’d have a snack and go home.
Beautiful location and repurposing of a industrial building. Wide selection of brews with flights. Food at the higher end of pub fare. Outside seating is primo if the weather is favorable.
A great find on our bridge tour this week. While investigating the old trolley bridge that Mother Nature is reclaiming, the old factory stack caught my attention and the rest became lunch history. We got two of the incredible oatmeal stout pulled pork sammiches. Jeez, Louise! Incredible. And I had to have a new t-shirt sporting their logo. And I grabbed a four pack of their Cherry Razz. Wicked good Summer beer. Great food, great beer, great people, great location. Give 'em your business.
“Where Beer Meets the Best Reuben” If you’re looking for great food, cold beer, and a laid-back atmosphere, this is the spot. We kicked things off with steamers (a perfect start) and split the Reuben for lunch—it’s hands-down the best Reuben in the area, never disappoints. The beer list has something for everyone, and while it can get a little noisy depending on events, it’s all part of the lively vibe. Definitely worth the trip!
We have eaten at Browns many times, it's a fun restaurant and the food used to be decent. However, the last few times we have been there the food is always cold. On our last visit we had to ask them to reheat the soup and we had the french fries replaced 3 times when we basically gave up on them. The staff are pleasant and the service is good. However, neither of those things make up for bad food that is moderate to expensive. I guess it's time to find a new place to go to. One of the other things that we found to be a bit disturbing was that the price listed on the menu was lower than we were billed.
