Brown & Associates

I was considering this firm, but the owner's public posts about their internal chaos and frustration are a major red flag. They openly admitted to not using an alphabetical filing system, which seems like a basic standard for anyone handling sensitive tax documents. If they find it 'not easy' to find a folder, I’m worried about the security and accuracy of my data.

Incredible people, actually treat you like family. Business is done timely, efficiently, and effectively. Couldn't be happier. I've had multiple companies in Appleton and other areas do my taxes, and had the best experience overall with Brown & Associates. Transparent from start to finish. If they have questions they'll ask. Don't hesitate to give this company a try!

Chris is a very professional and very knowledgeable when it comes to doing your taxes! I been looking for someone to help me with my business filings and reached out to Brown & Associates and was welcomed with open arms and no hassel. Chris really breaks everything down for you to really understand what's going on in great detail and that's what I wanted. He is very responsive with getting back to you in a fast manner and answering your questions. If you want to be worrie free then he's your guy. I highly recommend:)

Very disappointed in their service and was treated poorly this year as opposed to all the other ones. Mistakes were made on the company’s end and they told me to find a new tax service and no apologies were even given I was treated like I did everything wrong on my part. 14 years I told everyone to go to brown and associates and I hope they get plenty more customers but I have been dealt with poorly and will never go again.

I switched my tax preparation over and all of my insurance needs to Chris Brown years ago and have received nothing but exceptional and timely service. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris Brown and his staff to anyone.
