Dinner at Brothers Restaurant At the Red Barn was easily one of the most memorable steakhouse experiences I’ve had. The filet was phenomenal — honestly one of the top three filets I’ve ever eaten. Perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. The sides were just as impressive, and the Mud Pie for dessert was absolutely ridiculous in the best possible way — rich, indulgent, and unforgettable. We went on Sunday night, the day after Valentine’s Day, and the place was packed (good thing they take reservations). We'd had an unfortunate experience the night before at a different local restaurant, but despite the crowd, we were seated right away at a great table. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance: relaxed but upscale, with a retro country steakhouse vibe that feels both cla

My wife and I had an early reservation and were seated promptly, which made for a great start to the evening. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer while we looked over the menu for our entrées. Unfortunately, the calamari was a bit underwhelming. It felt like we were fishing for it in a sea of fried onions. After picking through the onions to find the small pieces of calamari, the plate still looked almost untouched because there were so many onions. Thankfully, the experience really turned around with the main courses. My wife ordered the ribeye, and it was cooked perfectly to her liking with excellent flavor. I had the prime rib special, which was also cooked perfectly and tasted even better than I expected. Paired with au jus and horseradish sauce, it was outstanding, and I finished

My review is somewhat late, but back in early December, our family celebrated a very important anniversary and we had 50+ people booked for it. Daniel, the AWESOME manager who made all of this happen, had worked with me since early March of 2025 to coordinate the menu and wine list and throughout the year, he was so professional and responded to my texts and calls so quickly and ensured me we were ready to go! The night of the event, the service, food, wine, atmosphere and dedication towards our party was PERFECT and they went so above and beyond that I was honestly astonished. Pretty much every guest who attended said the service and food was the best they had in a very long time. I cannot thank Daniel and his team, the chefs, and the entire Red Barn crew for one of the most memorable ni

Had dinner Tuesday night after not eating here for 5 years…. Outstanding in every aspect!!! I had the house smoked salmon appetizer and the 1 pound slab of prime rib….. Both off the charts delicious…. Prime rib melted in my mouth….. Our server, Junior paid close attention to every detail….. Personally I think this is the finest restaurant in all of Santa Barbara County

An absolute gem in the Valley. Tonight we had Junior as our server and from start to finish his customer service was excellent. I wanted to call his parents and thank them for raising such a quality person. It's very hard to find these days. Excellent bar, superb "clean" Tequila and a well made Chopin Martini. Mushroom soup? I could eat a gallon. The sole was cooked perfectly, the apple and Stilton salad fresh and very moreish. We will continue to support this place. 3 for atmosphere as we had a group of very loud (much older) locals who talked about politics and how many protests that were planning to go on.
