Brooklyn Pickle Sandwich Shop

Was given a caesar salad that was dates for expiration today, 3/9, and lettuce was visibly browned. Not what I was expecting from a sub shop claiming to usw the freshest ingredients. Needless to say I won’t be eating it so it’s a waste of $10. After waiting a couple minutes in my car beyond the estimated pickup time, I did have to go inside to know my order was ready, because I never got the confirmation text that it was ready for pickup. Not a big deal, but notable since it was the only order on the counter. I used to frequent this place up in Syracuse NY, and was excited to hear they opened a shop here, unfortunately this experience was lacking. I love how they prepared my Food at this Restaurant. I got a Whole Pastrami Sandwich and a Half Reuben. My Pastrami Sandwich was delicious, it had plenty of Pastrami and was topped just right. I definitely will eat here again.!!

We placed a catering order for our fall event at work. The manger was very nice and took the time to explain how their catering process works to my coworker. It was a very stress free experience. The sandwiches and sides (pasta salad, Broccoli salad) were delicious and a good size, with no complaints from anyone. Everyone enjoyed it! I'll definitely be ordering a sandwich on my own time and for future events as well.

Great deli with super friendly staff. Bread and all the ingredients were very fresh. Loved that they had a variety of chips to go with our choices and that they had Dr Brown sodas. They had a deli fridge stocked full off salads, desserts, and of course pickles. The chili was good but was a basic chili. The chefs special for the day was a Neptune's Gumbo which I was blown away by. It had huge chunks shrimp, clams, and veggies: I could have eaten this all day it was so good. The banana pudding was a typical pudding but still good. The reason I did not give this place a 5 because of the Cuban. My husband is Cuban and is very particular about the sandwich. Actually I door dashed a meal from here today. Food was so good I had to give a google review. My order was a bowl of chicken noodle soup, half chicken salad sandwich on white, with tomato and a slice of provolone. One pickle as well. Everything was amazing!!! Thanks to the team over there. Can’t wait to try the Pastrami sandwich and Matzo soup. I see why this is THE BEST sandwich shop in the Capital City
