Brookins Smoken on the Go

Okay. So I’m not sure if the TikTok blowing up just overwhelmed them or what but everything was absolutely disgusting. The mac & cheese look nothing like the video. It was hard and tasted a bit overcooked. Not only that but I waited 2 HOURS!!! I ordered two different size dinners and everything came out the same size. Again, I know the TikTok probably caught them off guard, but there definitely needs to be a revamp and organization of the food and time of service.

Stopped in for the first time today for a quick sandwich to go. Lady was very nice and got straight to work on my food. Shortly thereafter she presented me with the beautiful thing you see pictured here! Unfortunately the flavors didn't do the looks of the sandwich any justice. The pork was so smoky that the entire thing tasted like a piece of mesquite charcoal. The smoke totally overwhelmed any flavor of the pork, the sauce and the slaw. I sincerely hope that I just caught them on an off day because if this sandwich had tasted as good as it looked, it would have been beyond spectacular!

I felt like I was in a thrift store and it took sooooo long. I will not be going bk food was awful.

I waited over a hour for them to take my ordered. I ordered and still didn't receive my order 30 minutes after the order, so I left with no food. What a way to waste my lunch and time. Diabolical.

My food was absolutely disgusting. I ordered 6 pieces of wings, a side of greens, a side of macaroni and smoked cheese, and a piece of cornbread on the side. That mac and cheese taste as if it was spoiled. The greens were very blah and tasted like absolutely nothing. The cornbread was really dry. The wings were smoked, but for whatever reason they seemed to be soggy.
