Our large group of 10 last night had such a wonderful time here. We were celebrating the birthday of a friend that had passed, and the entire staff was so accommodating to us. We are so grateful for their patience and flexibility, I know it was a lot. I wish I had caught our server's name (she's from Missouri!), she was outstanding! As for the food, absolutely incredible. There is a large vegetarian and vegan menu which accommodated many of our dietary restrictions. I didn't look at what meat options there were but the meat eaters in our party seemed pleased. 10/10 will be back.
1. Place looked dirty and was cold inside 2. Service was very slow took 15 mins to have someone come over to our table and the place was not very busy. Water then took another 10 mins to get. Waitress was not very friendly. 3. Food was not very good, artichoke dip was mostly cream cheese, mahi taco was not even edible. Only decent things we had were the smoked wings and tempeh bbq sandwich. The food also came all at once instead of the appetizers first. We will not be going back and I do not recommend.
Food was horrible. Related it to hospital food...ugh. Bland, not fresh. And expensive for the quality of food. Atmosphere was odd... I hope they stay in business, and we were hopeful for something much better. We had planned on getting sandwiches at Cheba Hut, but wanted to give the Bottle Shop an opportunity. Cheba Hut would have been a fraction of the cost for a much better dinner!!
Popped in after a long hike for a delicious cold Athletic Golden Ale and a veggie burger. The burger was scrumptious! I appreciate the several N/A options they had available. Everything tasted fresh. I wanted to ask for a jar of their homemade pickles. Yum! I'd go back for more!
Look, I don’t want to bring a small business down. I’m writing this review because my expectations were set too high from seeing all the 5 star reviews. This is about the food only— I was not served in the restaurant. It was very bland and expensive for what we got. I got the steak burrito bowl: the steak was not tasty, I only ended up eating rice and beans, and only about half of it. My partner got turkey reuben and said it was overloaded with sauerkraut. Mac and cheese was the best thing we had, but also bland. Sorry to say, if you’re familiar with Medford/Ashland, Eugene, or Portland’s standard of food, you may be disappointed.
