Customer Reviews
Most of the time, I come to Broad Street Bakery & Cafe when I want something fresh, but every now and then I have to get their burgers. Perfectly juicy. Soft bun that holds up. Flavorful. Hand cut fries. Perfect. Add in the recent remodel (in Mississippi Mud Monsters colors no less!) and Jeff E Good and his team have curated a wonderfully delightful experience.
Broad Street understands how to pack a to go order. Even the eggs for my sandwich are in a separate container. Top notch packing. The bacon was good. The eggs was poached correctly. My only suggestion would be the cheese was shredded and not melted onto the sandwich. The biscuit was good but not quite my favorite style. More a personal preference. The grits were excellent. A great place to grab a breakfast and a leader in how to pack a to go order.
I’ve passed by this bakery for several years and finally decided to stop in and I’m so glad I did! I was absolutely blown away by the deliciousness. The wait was pretty long during lunch (over 30 minutes), but it was worth it. I ordered the Chicken Salad Pesto Sandwich, and it was loaded with flavor seriously, wow. My man got the Turkey Club shredded, and it was equally delicious. However, we were a little confused when we asked for cheddar cheese and got shredded cheese on the club sandwich. The fresh cut fries were another highlight perfectly cooked and seasoned. I loved them! I also grabbed a few pastries. Most were really good, although the cinnamon roll was a little doughy for my taste. That said, the flavor was still spot-on. Overall, I’m kicking myself for not stopping in sooner.
I always frequent this spot for lunch, but had it for breakfast this week and I didn't realize how much I've been missing out. I ordered the low carb bowl trying to be mindful of carb intake because I did purchase baked goods and a king cake, but the bowl was fantastic! Can't wait for my next breakfast visit. Also love how consistently kind the staff are!
We had a roast beef sandwich with a side of the soup of the day (turkey and veggie) and a salad/cup of gumbo combo for lunch. Their sourdough bread is the best and freshest around !!
