The food here is decent but it depends what you order. The empanadas were on the smaller side and were cold. The beef one was good but the chicken one was dry. The chicken stew was good and they gave me a lot of it. The portion sizes and the way the food is cooked always varies and it’s never the same which is disappointing. For two empanadas and a chicken stew platter with rice and beans, it came out to $26, which I thought was a little expensive.

Oh, if you love fresh , tasty Caribbean food this is a gem ( my favorite is roasted pernil ) . I have been either picking up or ordering them for at least 10 years. Time to write a stella review for this restaurant. The prices are genuinely real" Bronx "prices , that put to shame " nouvelle cuisine " Micro foods , at Macro prices. The Bronx has so many undiscovered great food restaurants. Don't get me started on the iconic Arthur Avenue genuine , delicious ,imported Italian foods and pastries that will make your first visit , for many more to come.!!

This was a good spot. A little bland on the hospitality but the food was excellent. Spacious place with room for small parties. It was a work night for me and the guys and this was the best place for a after work dinner. The portions are very healthy and the price is not to be beat. Definitely coming back with the wife next time see how she likes it. If you in the area stop by and enjoy a very delicious dish. I give this place 5 stars. Not much to complain about. Good job n thank you

Better visit for lunch instead of dinner. Try to have the chicharron a few times during dinner without any luck. The steaks are always good there. Skip the beef tripe tender soup! The chicken stew is lack of flavor. The services is good.

The food is straight fire. If you want real, home‑cooked Dominican food, pull up to Brisas El Caribe. We ordered catering (rice, beans, pernil) for Noche Buena, and everything slapppppppppppped. We had a little hiccup with the order, but they fixed it quick and handled it mad fair. Every time I talked to someone, they were chill, respectful, and super helpful. Bomb food + good people… why you still reading? Go eat.
