Brinkman Farmstead Bed & Breakfast

My wife, daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful time @ Martha and Tom's place. We took the cheese making class and more than enjoyed the education on Moo-Zarella that Tom gave us:) Breakfast was more than amazing! The only complaint I have is that we only stayed one night. Such a great experience. We WILL be back!

We had a wonderful time at the Cool Cow Cheese farm. We took an early evening walk (with farm dog Max, the sweetest basset hound you've ever met) down to the creek, sat on the porch during the evening milking and watched lightning off in the distance while a light rain made the most relaxing noise on the roof, had a wonderful breakfast in the morning, and even got to see another milking in the morning and my kids were able to "help" bottle feed the younger cows in the barn. The beds were so comfortable, I had the best night's sleep I've had in a while. Martha's breakfast was absolutely outstanding in the morning! Amazing quiet respite in this one of a kind bed & breakfast. The farm is set in a beautiful setting, complete with animals and nightly fireflies. Our stay was glorious in the comfortable bed and the BREAKFASTS were delicious. Many things to choose from & they included fresh cream & cheese every morning. Martha & Tom are hospitable and genuine as they tell their story of the farmstead from the 1840’s. Their hard work is evident. Such a wonderful place to visit.

My wife and I are in our 60s but active and this was a special occasion for us. I had high hopes but I cannot properly explain how far this family Bed and Breakfast exceeded my expectations. This is a family farm and this couple opens up their family to you. They were a very impressive couple, both with prior impressive professional careers who decided to live this sustainable lifestyle. Tom has many blue ribbons for his cheeses but also is working to promote a connection of agribusiness in their region.The rooms are full of character, so very relaxing and comfortable. Before you wake up there is left for you in the common area is fruit, granola and yogurt. Also sliced tomatoes, slices of mozzarela made on their farm without preservatives. Extraordinary hospitality and breakfasts. Plus guests can get up close to the farming, milking and cheese making/marketing effort. Tom, Martha, Ben, Randas and Elizabeth made us feel like we were home “away from home”! Bring your favorite wine and fruits and enjoy the many great cheeses and sausages available. Now our neighbors want to come too!
