Brightwood Pizza & Bottle

Hands down the best cider and pizza I’ve had in DC. The pizzas are creative and the cider variety is insane. Our bar tender was so knowledgeable and attentive, even when the place was packed. He made us feel so welcome and even let us sample ciders until we found exactly what we were looking for. Perfect ambience for our date night. Will be coming back for their Adult Swim on Thursdays!

Brightwood Pizza is a true neighborhood gem! If you're in the area, you absolutely have to check it out. One of the owners, Sam, is incredibly passionate about his business, and he's always a pleasure to chat with. The staff is super friendly and helpful, which just adds to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. As for the pizza – it’s fantastic! They are delicious and come with ample toppings. Two people could share a pie, unless you are really hungry and want one for yourself. No one would blame you…they are that good! But that’s not all Brightwood Pizza has to offer. They also run a craft cider business under the name ANXO (pronounced Ahn-Cho), and their cider creations are a must-try! I had an amazing experience at Brightwood Pizza & Bottle! I dropped by for lunch and was blown away by their 'Islander 2.0' pizza and garlic knots. The cider choices were fantastic, and their margarita on tap was a delicious surprise. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the outdoor seating was fun. I can't wait to visit again when I'm back in the area!

Employees are friendly and attentive, the variety of ciders is great, and the food is tasty! Wish I had taken pics of the pizzas, the french one was the best!

A wonderful atmosphere, especially on those cooler summer nights. Indoor and outdoor seating options. The pizza is really good with a chewy/crispy crust and perfectly blended sauce (I like red sauce). Pairs well the the many ciders they have available. The staff are really friendly too.
