Years later from my last visit, I’m just glad that they are still here - doing what they do best. If they weren’t so out of the way, I absolutely would be here much more often. I miss Filipino food and I miss the strong cultural representation that it has in California. Too bad Chef D and Rose weren’t here this visit as I would have loved to see them again and touch base as when I first visited. I’m just glad, however, the food has not gone downhill in flavors or quantity. Prices obviously adjusted for inflation and acceptable. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Best part is seeing all the different walks of life coming in to order food and either enjoying it there in the moment like I did or taking it away to-go with glee. As foodies this place exceeded our expectations! You really can’t go wrong with what you order. The sauces are super flavourful, meats are super tender and the Lechon Kawali is the perfect combination of textures, tender on the inside and super crispy on the outside. Our favourites so far are the Curried Goat, Lechon Kawali and Bicol Express! Can’t wait to come back and try the oxtail. Highly recommend this spot!

Spent just about $40 Ordered takeout but sat and ate there. Lechon kawali combo which they initially told me they don't serve anymore but made an exception I'm assuming because it was priced at $22. Most of the food was presented well and tasted fine. The rice noodle (pancit bihon) under the pork belly tasted a bit old, which I should have brought up there but I was hungry and found it pointless to bring it up. Pinakbet was good, a tad bit salty but overall very good flavor. I mixed that with my rice. For $10 I'm still on the fence about portion. Lemonade was $5.50 and it was fine. It tasted good! This restaurant was life-changing. Specifically, the oxtail. It's in the ready-to-go hot bar, and it's definitely the best oxtail we've ever tried. The gravy is crazy -- like the best demi glace ever -- and the oxtail is so tender. We'll definitely be back to get a large serving of the oxtail! We also got the shrimp pancit bihon (made to order, so it took some time since they were slammed with takeout orders), which had a lovely garlic flavor. Not many shrimp, but that garlic vermicelli was addicting! It was outshined by the oxtail, but it was still quite good. Needless to say, I love this place and am excited to come back and get more oxtail (and maybe try some more of their Jamaican foods).
