Bridgeport Public Library

This library does seem to have a great selection and the grab bags are a fun way to find new things through librarian recommendations based on your inputs. But it's all the things they do in addition to the books, even the online audible ones. The craft classes, sign language, knit/crochet, genealogy, and teens fun clubs are amazing. The amount of online resources offered is impressive too. And it's adorable with permanent and rotating art displays. They have an incredible puzzle collection, an awesome start to DnD and other tabletop RPGs including dice, some normal boardgames, hobby boxes for so many things, even video games. Now even a great little dedicated book sale room. And some super friendly folks! I love it.

LOUD. Loud, loud, loud. No regards for the fact that this should be a nice quiet place to come read or study - people just standing around having LOUD conversations, people at the check-out desk not using an 'indoor voice', even the noise from the kids area. This whole place just never gets quiet enough to actually enjoy it. Even noise cancelling earbuds can't drown out the LOUD.

I love this library. It's nice, the employees are kind, it has a very good movie selection and generous lending times. There are a great many books to choose from, but I think the lending times on books should be longer, especially if it's not a newly published or new arrival. They also have interesting events and keep the option open for the Harrison County community to stay busy in a fun, educational, smart way.

Nice facility, good selection, friendly and informed staff. They also have a good selection of online resources\books\audios. Frequent educational opportunities for kids.

I love this library. The staff is very helpful, the self-checkout is a great way to save time, and the programs are a wonderful way to spend an evening and make friends. In the last two years I've read so many books that I wouldn't have read if it wasn't for the public library system.
