Great atmosphere, service & food!!! Enjoyed a unique feature salad with charred cabbage & Caesar dressing. For entrees we ordered the Elk Bolognese & Skuna Bay Salmon. All ingredients tasted fresh, dishes were well-seasoned and excellently prepared. We plan to eat here again on a future trip to this area. Recommend making a reservation to ensure a table is available.
BrickHouse 737 delivered one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. The grilled quail special appetizer was outstanding. The limoncello shrimp linguini was light and bright, and the braised rabbit and rooster comb pasta was a flavor bomb with a great mix of textures. The carrot cake was easily the best I’ve ever had. Drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was dark, warm and intimate. Our waitress was also really nice and gave great recommendations. P.S. The owner deserves a shoutout. On Christmas Day I was across the street trying to find high smoke-point cooking oil (I’d forgotten mine and everything else was closed). He was only there as a customer, but offered to take us over to his restaurant and grab some oil for us. Huge thanks. You saved the day.
We ended up eating at Brickhouse several times—regular dinner service, a Sunday special, and Christmas Eve—and the food was excellent every single time. That kind of consistency is hard to find. The menu is strong and the quality really shows. Everything tasted fresh, well made, and done right, whether it was a normal night out or a special occasion. If a place can hit that level across multiple visits and different menus, it’s doing something right. We’ll absolutely be back.
This place was so good, we ate here both our nights in Ouray. We got the winter harvest salad both nights it was so good. The first night we had the Elk Bolognese and the second night, a venison dish… Both were fantastic! They have a nice selection of beers, wines and cocktails. Our waitress, Shelby, was fabulous, and we enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere. This place is a big step up from the typical mountain bar scene… they clearly put tons of care into an interesting and delicious menu!
Amazing! Got a reservation two days ahead for Saturday. Everything was delicious. Rabbit pasta was a standout— tasted like fall. They were amazing about accommodating my daughter’s food allergies.
