Brick Street Bagels | South Boston

Brick Street Bagels is a well known bagel shop in Boston, with a smaller location in the South End, however this is a bigger storefront that also sells drinks and bagel sandwiches. The line was long, but did move semi-fast while we were there. There isn't a bathroom or any seating area within the store, meaning that everything was taken to go. They offer a similar selection of bagels as their South End location, and also offer bagel sandwiches priced similarly to other locations in the area. We got their classic lox, which reminded me of the signature bagel of Apollo Bagels, a famous NYC location also known for their extremely long lines. My roommate and I just moved from NJ and naturally are on the hunt for a great bagel so we got 4 things to really try the menu. What we ordered: The big dill on sesame, plain cream cheese on everything, bacon scallion cream cheese on rosemary salt, and the maple cream cheese on a sesame. To start with the good things: the bagel consistency and density was great for the everything and sesame bagels. Chewy and soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside. The oil on top of the big dill is phenomenal and should be bottled and sold. The amount of cream cheese on each bagel is perfect. The salmon also tasted very fresh. This place is just up the street from where I live and that is dangerous! The bagels are so fresh and I love that they now offer bagel sandwiches! My favorite so far is the tomato bagel on a cheese bagel. Can’t wait to go back and try more.

Best bagels in Boston. The cheddar bagel is to die for. The line can be long but they're pretty quick to take orders and prep them. Also love the merch! I can see it becoming my go-to breakfast spot this winter and I am happily looking forward to that.

I love this spot so much 🥰🥰🥰 bagels r the best in Boston dare I say better than any New York bagel too😍 staff is so sweet and service is pretty quick even though they're slammed sometimes (for good reason) My bf says the fish n chips is his fav thing he's ever tasted lol. Conveniently located too close to me bc I need it everyday
