We chose the perfect time to rent this cottage - It was the weekend of my birthday (Aug. 14), Mike Doucet and his band were playing at Teche Brewery, and it was also the weekend of the Fete-Dieu du Teche. We dined at The Little Big Cup at least twice, and enjoyed the drinks and pizza - Cajun Saucer makes a mean raclette pizza! The cabin was so well appointed. Everything we could have wanted was there. If not, then Russell's Grocery was not far away. Nunu's artist space rounded out the weekend. Can't wait to go back, especially since we just heard about the new tiki drinks at Teche Brewery!
Amazing combination of a rustic feel without the sacrifice of modern convenience. Being within a few yards of an excellent brewery is extremely convenient.
