Customer Reviews
What a little gem this place is! Stumbled upon it needing some breakfast and coffee when I was passing through Big pine. The owner Shelly is the nicest woman. You can tell that she put her heart into this business. It's comfortable and quaint inside with nice seating and soft lighting. You also find it nice outdoor seating area. The coffee was delicious and the breakfast was great! I shall return...
We found the place by accident when we were driving thru. Was so excited to see gluten free options! They are understanding and knowledgeable and the gluten free bread is AMAZING. We will be stopping in every time we pass thru.
We had to wait here with a big school group while our instructor dealt with a tire replacement. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and didn't mind us staying a bit past their official closing time. A wonderful relief in a logistically difficult and wind-blasted camping trip. Delicious sandwiches, interesting espresso drinks, comfy armchairs, Tom Petty on the soundtrack. Love it.
Aggressively anti laptop, with sassy signs that say the wifi is out right next to the sign that says the wifi name (rude awakening) which is slow and intermittent. The coffee was decent and the food was almost good, but left a stomach ache. Cute and sassy establishment designed for people to not use internet or computers. Considering this is one of the only coffee shops in between the mountains and the city, one might find this position worth revisiting. Or working travelers can put in the extra 13 miles and get to Looney Bean in Bishop which has better vibes, better food, better coffee, and a distinct lack of sass.
We had a wonderful experience here! The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The toilets were also spotless, which was a big plus. We loved the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the beautifully decorated interior. If you’re looking for something delicious on the way through the desert and a great place to relax, make sure to stop here!
