Brew River Seafood House and Dock Bar

My family and I went here yesterday to see Bluey and it was really nice. The bread that they bring out in the beginning is amazing. The kids loved it so much that we had to ask for another basket. Our waitress was on top of everything and was sweet. The only thing is I thought the kids were supposed to get a toy with their meals but they didnt, so I felt like I lied to them on the way there but they had fun regardless.

Weird and subpar experience from the start. We went on a Friday night expecting a large crowd and a wait that wasn't there. Should've heeded the warning. Mostly empty main dining room despite nice decor and friendly staff. There was a band in the bar area and one in a separate section. Neither was any good, 2 completely different genres and way too loud. From our table we could hear both simultaneously which made for a loud, over stimulating dining experience. We weren't a part of either vibe and it was difficult to have a conversation without yelling. Food was ok. Scallops were chewy and overcooked. Crab cake was good, fish and chips were also good. We my family and I recently visited this restaurant. We were out of town and visiting family. The service was awesome. Our sever was fun! She suggested many things off the menu which were great. The food was hot, fresh and tasteful. I enjoyed the charbroiled oysters which were amazing and a crab cake sandwich with boardwalk fries. Also, the orange crushes were outstanding!

We came over for a birthday celebration and we were able to catch the end of the character breakfast for my granddaughter. The food was great and we had a wonderful view of the river! Love this place!
