Brennecke's Beach Broiler

Harvest salad was awesome. It was a good combination of veggies, nuts and seeds. Fish and chips was very good. Nice thick breading. The chicken sandwich was very tender and flavorful. Great place to see the sunset and the turtles come ashore. Reservations recommended.

We loved our first experience at this family owned 40+ year Kauai establishment! From the welcome to dessert they treat you right and have amazing food. Yes, it's a bar vibe, but their cuisine goes beyond basic bar fare. Sunday is the Superbowl and we'll be watching the Seahawks at Brennecke's! UPDATE: Brennecke's Superbowl Party was amazing! If you're in town for this annual tradition, don't miss out.

Great service, probably the best waitress we have had at any restaurant on the South shore, excellent fresh food and nice location had enjoyable view and is conveniently across road from beach and park. 2nd floor has stairs and elevator (upon request) with superb view and pleasant breeze (be aware of the local birds, they are hungry opportunists). Bar seating and tables are available, very popular with locals and tourists alike, so reservations are always good unless you don't mind a 90 minute wait during prime time dinner hours. Tuna poke, seafood risotto and fresh Mahi Mahi are all winners, top notch staff and good quality food. Highly recommended.

Extremely friendly staff. Service was exceptional. We had the wasabi ahi and ahi tacos ... Both were delicious and we we order again. Cocktails : The mai tai and mango blast were a bit sweet for us...the tai chi was more to our liking. Overall we had a wonderful experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Island Favorite in Poipu! Brennecke’s in Poipu is absolutely fantastic. The Ono Fish & Chips were perfectly crispy, fresh, and full of flavor—some of the best I’ve had on Kauai. The ice-cold beers hit the spot, and their Mai Tais are top-notch and exactly what you want in a classic Hawaiian cocktail. A huge shoutout to Kat, our server, who was respectful, professional, and incredibly attentive. She made the experience even better with her great service and welcoming attitude. Perfect beachside atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent food and drinks. Highly recommend Brennecke’s every time you’re in Poipu! 🌺🌊🍻🥥
