We just ate here for the 1st time & we both got the lunch buffet. SO GOOD and fresh! Grilled or fried pork chops, fried chicken, collards, mac & cheese etc etc etc....country staples. Fresh salad bar, desserts and did I mention biscuits and cornbread? Wonderful, friendly service and very clean dining area. Good job!
June 2024 - Local lunch after work a the state prison. Took some time to walk through the streets of town. Neat movie theme in the restaurant.
This was one of the best homemade food. Reminds me of growing up. When I come down from Louisiana again, I will definitely eat here again.
Unfortunately, my experience at Brenda Kay's was not one to write home about. The pork chops were fried beyond recognition and taste, the fried chicken lacked seasoning, and the vegetables were all canned, lacking any seasoning. Waitress was friendly, saving this experience from being a total disaster.
Absolutely awesome food! The burgers are great!! Highly recommended
